The AI’s verdict (spoiler)
Machamp by TKO. Sonic's famous impatience lasts about nine seconds before he curls into a ball and bounces off a champion 95 kg heavier. Machamp answers with one horizon-bound punch, the ropes keep Sonic in the ring, and the referee stops it in round one.
Fair fight? Enlarge the ring to a football pitch, so Machamp tangles his own arms chasing a hedgehog who can't stand still, and Sonic at least has a shot at a decision.
