The AI’s verdict (spoiler)
Yoshi by DQ. Mario is 10 kg heavier, but Yoshi flutter-jumps around him and pecks away. Frustrated in round two, Mario grabs Yoshi's tail the way he lifts Bowser's and swings him. That's a throw, so the referee disqualifies him. Yoshi wins by DQ, unbruised.
Fair fight? Ban the flutter-jump, so Yoshi has to stand and trade with the heavier man. Mario also gets a tail-free opponent, in the form of a tail-covering ring jacket.
