The AI’s verdict (spoiler)
Sonic by Decision. Snorlax plants itself mid-ring like a roadblock in Pokémon Red and Blue, then uses Rest. Sonic, too impatient to wait for anyone to wake up, circles and pecks jabs for three rounds. Nothing hurts Snorlax, but everything scores: Sonic wins a unanimous decision.
Fair fight? Shrink the ring to a narrow corridor, the width of a Kanto road, so Sonic can't circle, and make Snorlax start each round awake and standing.
