The AI’s verdict (spoiler)
Sonic by DQ. Sonic taps his foot and circles a Yoshi who is 60 cm taller, while Yoshi flutter-jumps hopefully. In round two Yoshi can't resist a ground-pound, which is a stomp. The referee disqualifies him, and Sonic wins by DQ before his attention span runs out.
Fair fight? Make ground-pounds legal, so Yoshi has to win by landing his big body on Sonic rather than getting himself disqualified, and Sonic has to actually dodge them.
